About ControlC
ControlC.com is a combined pastebin and image host. On the paste side it accepts up to 100 KB of UTF-8 text, with optional BBCode formatting for bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, colours and text sizes. Each paste can have a password and a self-destruct timer.
The same site also hosts images and short GIFs, and offers a Windows app (available from the site and the Microsoft Store) for capturing part of the screen, annotating it and sharing a link.
You can use the site as a guest. A free account removes the 48 hour expiry cap on pastes, raises the hourly paste allowance and gives you a dashboard to edit and delete your posts.
How to create a paste
- Go to controlc.com and open the pastebin form.
- Paste or type your text, using BBCode tags if you want formatting.
- Optionally set a password and a self-destruct time.
- Submit the paste and share the link.
Things to know

- Rate limits: guests can create 60 pastes an hour and members 300.
- Content rules: NSFW content is not allowed. Reports can be made through the Report link on each page or the DMCA and removals page.
- Operator: the site does not name a company; the FAQ gives a Proton Mail address as the contact.
