About Pasteboard
Pasteboard is a minimal image host designed for sharing screenshots quickly. You can paste an image straight from the clipboard, drag and drop a file, upload from a phone's photo library or take a picture with a webcam. A built-in crop tool lets you trim the image before upload, and the cropped-out area is never uploaded.
The free service accepts JPEG, PNG, GIF, APNG and TIFF images of up to 5 MB, with no account required. Uploads are not listed publicly, so they are only seen by people who have the link.
Pasteboard Premium is a supporter subscription that adds drawing and text tools, view statistics, a 25 MB file limit, images that never expire and an ad-free experience for you and your viewers.
How to upload to Pasteboard
- Take a screenshot so it is on your clipboard.
- Open pasteboard.co and press Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V on a Mac), or drag in a file.
- Crop if needed, upload, and copy the link.
Things to know
- Expiry: Premium lists "images never expire" as a benefit, which indicates free uploads may expire. Pasteboard does not publish how long free images are kept, so do not rely on it for long-term hosting.
- Content rules: The terms prohibit pornographic, gory, copyrighted or otherwise illegal material, and images that violate other people's privacy. Such images are deleted on sight.
- Jurisdiction: The terms are governed by Swedish law.
- Ads: The free service shows advertising.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to use Pasteboard?
No. You can paste, drag in or select an image and get a link without signing in.
Can other people find my Pasteboard images?
Pasteboard says uploads are never discoverable by themselves, so an image is only seen by people you give the link to. Anyone who has the link can still view it.
What does Pasteboard Premium include?
At the time of checking, Premium cost $3 a month or $27 a year and added drawing and text tools, view counts, a 25 MB file limit, images that never expire and no ads.
